All grown up

My little boy is all grown up (or so he thinks). Caleb started Kindergarten on Aug 5th. He was very excited counting down the days until he had to go to school. He is really enjoying it and is doing very well. He always comes home with a sticker for doing good work (not everyone gets one).

We've been get our exercise by walking to and from school everyday. The three hours goes by way too fast. It seems that I just get home and I have to go back to pick him up. However, his best friend is in his class and his mom and I are now taking turns walking them to or from school. I also help out in his class one day a month, so it is fun to see what they do and learn in school.

Funny (or gross) story: Yesterday, when I was walking to pick up the kids from school, I was pushing Jacob in the stroller (or we might take all day to get there) and I was carrying Caitlyn in the front pack. Well we walked under some trees and the next thing I know a bird pooped all over Caitlyn's head! At least her head was easier to clean than if it had been my hair. YUCK!!!!

I sometimes think that the birds do it on purpose! It happens a lot down at the playground in our park.

Hooray, Caleb!!

They grow up so fast! I just can't believe it.
I'm lucky enough that I've never been pooped on by a bird... I can't say that much about baby poop, unfortunately.

How exciting! Joshua keeps talking about going to school, too, and he has a whole year to go!
That is awesome that he keeps getting good work stickers. :)
I have been pooped on by a bird...and it was in the middle of winter, so it was icy when it hit my head. Yuck..
