“No Eat! No Grow! Shout!

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Tanner Flats for an end of the season campout. The boys were anxious to go all summer, but we waited until Caitlyn was a little bigger. I think we have another camper in the family. She was a super trooper! We were a little worried about the weather, but it turned out to be really nice. The kids had a lot of fun even though we depleted the bandaid supply.
Some of us went for a nice little hike down to the river.
The perfect photo spot
Jacob loves to collect sticks and rocks - He was in stick and rock heaven!

Which is better: a campfire or dutch oven peach cobbler

Looks like a lot of fun! You guys always amaze me with your camping adventures! I think I am too timid to take my kids. I am always worried they will fall in something or I will lose them.
And campfires are WAY better than dutch oven peach cobbler...yuck... :P
We went camping over Labor Day weekend, too. We went to Rock Cliffs, just above Jordanelle Reservoir. FUN. Really. We had a great time. It was a lot of work, but we had an awesome time. We took a small hike by the river and found a tree that was felled by a beaver . . . still had the teeth marks in the trunk and the wood shavings on the ground. Awesome.
great pictures! we love to camp too! The boys get their fill with Victor because of scouts.
The girls havn't gone in a very long time... we have been talking about camping... i see it in our future.
