Drab to Fab

I did a living room makeover and here are the results. I must admit that I was hesitant to go bold but really wanted and orange room. When I applied the first coat I thought what did I do, but knew I just had to keep going. I was not happy, but after 2 more coats I absolutely loved it! I got the inspiration from an ad in the mail. So I matched the color the best I could. It took me a week of tedious work picking small chunks of wallpaper with my fingernail and a squirt bottle. It was the only thing that was going to work with the type of wallpaper it was. I really don't want to do it again anytime soon. I have a hallway and family room to redo too. I think I will just paint over the old cursed wallpaper. I now have my own warm tropical retreat as I call it. A place for me to relax and enjoy.

NO DOUBT. I was pretty scared myself. But, it all worked out.

I absolutely LOVE it. I love to paint. I'm not afraid of color either. Probably because I haven't ended up with a disaster yet.
Good job. Again I wish you lived closer so we could help each other. It would be fun.

If I could offer a suggestion...After taking another look I think you should add a big picture over your dresser thingy. Or a mirror. Since you love fall, and it is done in fall colors maybe you could take a scenic picture of trees and the leaves changing color and blow it up and hang it there. Even a Sepia color would look good.
