Summer Daze
That is pretty much what it is. Seems like I wait all winter for summer to come and then it is just too hot, and I still get couped up in the house. Alas, but my favorite season is just around the corner! Oh how I love Fall! Anyway, you are probably thinking I gave up on the whole blog idea. But, I have intentions that just get pushed aside. I do my best thinking while I am lying in bed at night waiting for sleep to come. No way am I going to get up then just to blog about my thoughts. My sleep is nessary for me to be happy. Yep, I need 8 hrs. So my latest accomplishment or I should say Jacobs is that we are diaper FREE night and day! Yep it only took him a couple of days to potty train. I said "today is the day" and we went straight to undies. We had one day of laundry galore, but dry ever since. Number two is a hit and miss though (a litte more work needed). But it has only been a little over a week. I must say I am proud of my boy. I dreaded the whole idea of potty training and been through it once before but I got lucky this time. His reward is to go to IKEA and play in their free child care center while I look around. We were there a few weeks ago and the greeter asked if we wanted to use the child center but that they had to be potty trained. It looked like so much fun but they had to pass it up. Caleb wouldn't go without Jacob. The whole time in the store Jacob kept telling me "I want to be potty trained" over and over.

I am SOO jealous! I haven't gotten Joshua to be dry at night at all... :( Oh well...I LOVE your living room! I wish our landlord would let us paint...
Yeah, I need to get me a pad of paper and put it next to the bed. I get tons of awesome ideas for blogs as I lay there before I fall asleep, and there is no way I am getting up to turn on my computer.
Who am I kidding, I fall asleep way too fast for that. LOL.
I have a... zzzZZzzzZZZzzzZZZzzZZ
I didn't even want to try while the Najdawi's were here but now I've had a little more time I started having him go naked in the morning. He cries and doesn't want to. Now he demands that I turn the water on too since I've done that to help him have to go. He too wakes up dry. But he doesn't WANT to go pee. He has a big bladder and can hold it. I still put diapers on at night though. Then in the morning I just have him go naked. He peed in the potty and 10 minutes later he comes to me and says his feet are wet? How can you pee that close together? His reward for going potty was wearing undies. Yet he didn't know or care that they are Parks old undies since he got new ones for school. Which Parks asked all week before school if he could wear them. Those and his new tennies is all he cared about. That way if Logan poops, I won't feel bad about throwing them away. But we are usually only home in the morning and the rest of the day I'm on the go and he wears diapers so I know it's confusing for him. He also just CHOSE to sleep in his bed one night at 2am. He likes it now. I miss him and want to cuddle with him in my bed though!
I love this cute stage and the funny things they say. I'm sad he is going to turn 3.
