“No Eat! No Grow! Shout!
Our anniversary was August 6th. Has it been nine long years or nine short years? Well, time has passed very quickly yet we feel like we have known each other forever. Looking back on the years we already look older. :-( Who are those young, happy people so in love? haha...ahhh
Well, we got an official date night with dinner and a movie. Thanks to Grandma offering to keep the boys all night! Plus I got a dozen roses - how romantic! Haven't seen that in a while. LOL.
What do you think ages you quicker? Time, Marriage, or Children?

Children...Definately children...You guys are so cute! I forgot it was your anniversary, so Happy Belated Anniversary! I hope the next nine years are great!
From the perspective of 40 years:
“Anyone who imagines that bliss [in marriage] is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he has been robbed.
“[The fact is] most putts don’t drop. Most beef is tough. Most children grow up to be just people. Most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration. Most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. …
“Life is like an old-time rail journey—delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed.
“The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride” (“Big Rock Candy Mountains,” Jenkins Lloyd Jones, Deseret News, 12 June 1973, A4).

Time will eventually age me. I'll go kicking and screaming!
My children give me grey hairs, but they don't age me. I worry and fuss, but in the end, they are the source of a lot of joy and fulfillment for me.
Marriage teaches me.. every day. I learn something new about Ben and I learn something new about me. Every time we have a "discussion", I learn more about why it's so important to stick in there and really try.
Holy crap, who is that Rico Suave in that picture with that hot babe?
My husband ages me! haha
My kids and Larry give me wrinkles on my forehead!
Time? I'll never grow up emotionally or mentally but I can see the jowels (sp?) beginning to form!
