FHE
My boys get so excited for Family Home Evening. Last night it was Chris's turn to teach and Caleb refused to say the opening prayer, so Jacob did it. As it turns out, the story out of the Friend Chris chose for his lesson was perfect. It was about a little girl who was having a bad day and wouldn't say a prayer. LOL. Chris substituted the name with Caleb which made him more grumpy! LOL. I think it got the point across to him though. Of course, the game part of the evening is the favorite. For some reason they always want to play duck duck goose. However, the next favorites are Hot and Cold (where you hide something and they have to find it) and I am thinking of a... Jacob is funny with I am thinking of a.. When it is his turn he says Ex. I am thinking of a horse... and Chris says is it a horse? and He gets so excited and says yes! We all laugh.
Oh, we got the new Primary CD with the songs they will learn next year. So we decided to start playing a couple of them at FHE so they will learn them. Caleb wouldn't sing with us so I told him that we would play it again and again until he sung it. So the third time he sang it with us. Then... during their bath time what do I hear? Caleb singing Washing our bums is fun to do, fun to do, to do to do. LOL!

That's awesome! We need to do family home evening. Sometimes, though, on Monday nights, we just have enough energy and patience to throw them in bed. :( I hope we get better...
LOL!
