Cabin Fever

I think we were spoiled with a week of warm weather which got me and the boys much too excited for spring. Now it's cold and depressing with nothing to do...
However, Chris and I have worked on a little project the last couple of days. We are getting ready for our little princess. I am not much of a pink person as far as decorating goes. But, Chris and the boys convinced me to paint the room pink, which my mother and sister so kindly offered to paint for me. The lower half of the room was wallpapered which was not going to come off without damaging the walls (so I wallpapered over it for Jacob - but he tore half of it off) not doing that again. I have always loved the look of beadboard and so we attempted the project! We did it ourselves and chris didn't even get hurt! He was even brave enough to switch out all the outlets to white for me. It was a great accomplishment, here are the results. Now for a few decorations and the return of a crib (that is currently being borrowed)and we will be set. Just in time for the spring yard work to be done.

We should have taken pictures of before and during the project, but you never think about it until it is too late.
Here is the only before pic I could find. Who is that cute little boy?

Only 90 days to go--WOW!

Gee, I wish I had somebody who'd like to come to my house and paint my rooms, too. :P LOL

I love bead board too! I want to attempt it in my kitchen. You however should not be working prego! Yes this weather is depressing! My Mesquite trip didn't rejuvinate me, it made me depressed that I couldn't move down there, to St. George that is. It's beautiful and I love it. You know cause you lived close to there. We went hiking with friend in Snow Canyon and it is awesome. I love the desert look almost as much as the tropical island look. I love Palm trees! LOVE LOVE LOVE. I need to come see you before you have the baby. I like to see people pregnant. So cute.

How fun! I LOVE pink. :) I think you are going to have so much fun with a little girl (considering you have had so much fun with your boys!).
