I promised I would post my sewing projects -- so here they are..... minus the owl wall hanging (still too come - got to get working on that). However, I now have my very own sewing machine. Chris got me a good deal at Costco. Woohoo. I never got into sewing but it's kind of fun.
My first attempt at clothing. This is Caitlyn's twirly skirt, got it done just in time for Valentines Day. It was work with all the gathering, but I plan on making another one.
Cool camping quilts and matching pillowcases. The boys love them and have to sleep with them at night.
I made several of these cute little Caprisun bags. Even though they look like a purse, Caleb and Jacob love to tote their toys around in them.

I love it! I need to practice sewing more...
That skirt is so cute! How did you make it?
I came across the pattern and had to have it. It has an owl applique to go on the shirt and a handbag to match that I haven't made yet.
Wish we lived closer and we could sew together. I want to make seasonal wall quilts to hang in my entry way. I have a snowman one for winter but now it's a bare wall cause I don't have any other quilts...Diane, my mother-in-law keeps me going on sewing projects. if it weren't for her i'd have nada.
Tierra and her cousins made capri pouch bags with her too.
I want to make a quilt for Hudson out of his old T-shirts. We could do our projects together. Maybe we could still get together for a sewing day kinda like a game day...and sew and talk and laugh and play!
Now you just have to get Caitlyn up and twirling on video so we can see your work in action!
