A Camping We Will Go!

We went on our annual family campout this year to Memorial Park. It was great weather for camping. I think I would like to do more fall camping as the days were a perfect temp and the nights chilly for a nice fire. We woke up to frost on our tents but it was fun to sit around a morning fire and have hot chocolate. Caleb would wake up and want to get dressed right away to go out and play. He would jump out of the covers then say brr! brr! and jump back under the covers getting the courage to get out again.

We had a great spot all to ourselves and plenty of room to play ultimate frisbee, pole golf and just run around. We were also next to the river for some cooling off in the afternoons.

They had some canon monuments at the entrance that the kids loved to play on. Caleb was the ultimate GI Joe.

This was my favorite picture (below) since he said hey mom take a picture of me and made this pose. How could I resist!

That was great, Tammy! I am still too scared to go camping...We should just DO it and see if we have as much fun as you guys do! You take some awesome picture, too. And what the HECK is pole golf?
"Wuhfrirf" the sound you make when people ask you if you've played pole golf

I like the "background music"-- frog's creaking are one of my favorite summertime concerts.

Pole Golf is where you throw two balls attached to each other by a rope and throw them to wrap around a rung and earn points(very very simplified explanation). The sixth picture down has Chris throwing one. Very fun game.

Rude! We weren't invited to this either? I'm family. shucks
Is this the Memorial Park up the Ogden Canyon? Cause that is just past my house. We use to go there annually when we only had Tierra and then baby Hudson and a tent.

Diane has the Pole golf. I don't think it's very fun. Maybe I've never been told the rules of the game. ha ha
