A Pirate Party!

I told Caleb I would give him a birthday party when he turned five. What a big day he had!

The Invitations

The Crew

The Treasure Hunt

Musical Islands

Walking the Plank

Sink the ship with cannon balls

Put the X on the treasure

The Loot

I made skeleton cupcakes for dessert, and we had koolaid ice cubes in sprite for "sharks blood".

Gifts from Mom and Dad

Gifts from friends
We took him out to dinner because he really wanted to go to Red Lobster. He loves crab legs and their rolls.

Wow! Five years old! Looks like a great party! You are brave to have all those little kids at your house! I freak out when there are that many adults...

You are always so creative with your party themes!

Alas: the creative party themes gene is missing from my DNA

Boy did that look like a lot of fun! Where did you get all of those ideas? The games, the cupcakes, the invitation etc... are awesome!

Happy Birthday Caleb! I loved the "walk the plank" game and your first mate's cupcakes she baked.
Hudson had a pirate party for his
5th too. The girls got colored bandana's and the boys pirate hats. Rance and Darren had pirate chest boxes so I got one and hid it outside and Larry dressed like a pirate with a wig and all and came to the front door and gave the kids a map for his treasure. Hud still has the chest and keeps his gold coins in it. auurgghhh I wish we lived closer so Parks and Caleb and Jacob and Logan could come to each others birthdays. I forget which days they are...Sept 16th and 21st?
